Plico Energy is a community operated Virtual Power Plant system located in the South West region of Western Australia.
They have a vision to empower communities to take back control of their energy with the aim of creating a better, cleaner future and end reliance on coal power fossil fuels.
Starling Energy Group is assisting with overall energy management, including:
- Negotiating and providing state-of-the-art technology, including solar PV panels, battery and inverter system
- Identifying and training local electricians to perform installations
- Manage on-going maintenance and system repairs, including call centre access from our operations centre
- Negotiating with and managing utility providers
With first installations commencing in March 2019, Plico Energy has a goal to expand across Western Australia, Australia and eventually the world to allow for more communities to take back control of their power.
